I created a network of strings for the finnissage of an anarcha-feminist collective, where I painted my body onstage and tied myself with string to explore how the string, bearing the notion of social systems that act upon the body, manipulates and distorts the relation to the body, and representing the string through both instillation and mime, as a material present both outside and inside the body, initiating cycles of behaviour and loops that are encouraged by a system of cognitive capitalism that affects our mental ecology.

I tied the string to both stable and unstable objects intentionally to express the destabilisation of social systems, and the performance provoked unexpected audience participation from at least 4 individuals.
