The space and objects we place in it and on our bodies become a reflection of how we project ourselves into the world, including one another, for whom, throughout the course of the performance, it becomes harder to decipher who is the instigator and who is receiving the movement, who is leading and who is following, who is the beginning and who is the end.

In this partner performance, we paint ourselves and the plastic environment with the imprints of our body, until we eventually imprint one another. We explored the relationship between sound and movement with objects in the environment to construct a conversation that is structured like an inverse contact improvisation. Exploring the spaces between touch, relying instead on principles of sound and inhabited space, and the imprints we impose upon space with our bodies, sounds, and minds.
